WHO IS GEOLOGICAL ENTERPRISES, INC.?
Geological Enterprises has been in the business of excavating, preparing and selling fossils for over 50 years. We are a major supplier of museum and educational quality specimens worldwide. We have donated thousands of specimens for scientific research and continue to do so. For the last 50 years we have built, and continue to build one of the largest lists of suppliers in the fossil industry. If we don’t have what you want, please let us know. We pride ourself in “finding the unfindable”.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE IN YOUR CATALOG AND BULLETIN?
Our catalog lists study grade specimens. It is generally used by Universities worldwide to build their teaching collections. It also lists casts of fossils from trilobites to complete mounted dinosaurs.
Our bulletin lists museum quality specimens. It is generally enjoyed by Museums and private collectors. Both publications are available to everyone and we suggest you take a look at both. There are many items listed exclusively in one and not the other.
DO YOU OFFER PRINTED VERSIONS OF YOUR CATALOG AND BULLETIN?
Yes. Both versions are available in print. They are also available on CD.
HOW DO I PURCHASE A FOSSIL FROM GEOLOGICAL ENTERPRISES, INC?
You can call us, fax us, send us an email, or send us a letter. We accept VISA, MasterCard, Personal or Company Checks(U.S. Funds), Money Orders(drawn on U.S. Banks) , wire transfers and Paypal. To recognized educational institutions, our terms are Net-30 days.
WHAT ARE YOUR SHIPPING CHARGES?
We charge you the exact shipping costs. If an overpayment of shipping costs is made, the overage is promptly refunded.
DO YOU SHIP OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES?
Yes, we have shipped thousands of packages to all Continents. From one ounce to one ton, we are an authority in all shipping matters, from packaging to choosing the proper carrier.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?
We do everything possible to get orders out the same day they are received. Most orders are shipped via priority mail, unless you specify another method. Priority mail is usually 2-4 days, depending where you live.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
Any specimen can be returned within 10 days of receipt for a full refund of the purchase price. Shipping is not refundable.
DO YOU HAVE A SHOWROOM I CAN VISIT?
Yes, Visitors are always welcome! Please call and let us know you are coming, so we will be sure and be here. Our office hours are 9am-4pm, Monday through Thursday and 9am-Noon on Friday. If you are passing through our town on a weekend, please give us a call and we will do our very best to be available to you.
DO YOU BUY FOSSIL COLLECTIONS?
Yes, we are always looking to add to our inventory, so please consider us when you are ready to sell your collection. No matter the size, we are interested.
DO YOU DO APPRAISALS?
Yes, we have been in the business of doing appraisals for over 50 years. Just give us a call or send us an email, and let us know your needs.
DO YOU SELL WHOLESALE TO DEALERS?
Yes. We have a Wholesale list that is available by mail. Just send us your resale number and the name of your business, and we will get the listing out to you. We sell to many museum shops, fossil dealers, and rock shops worldwide. Many of these fossils were self collected over the last 50 years, so we have an endless supply. Just give us a call and let us know your needs.
